The Bard, The Emancipator, and the Girl from Calumet
Wherin we continue our discussion of the possibility of playing a Primetime Adventures series based on the following premise:
“a show about a time-traveling William Shakespeare and Abraham Lincoln zooming across the heartland of America in a stolen ‘67 Mustang with a goth-chick waitress who’s on the run from the Irish mob in Chicago.”
Daniel Perez, Chuck Hedden and I have been flirting with the notion of taking this seriously. Some ideas came up in another thread and this post is here to keep the pitch discussion going, should anyone wish to do so.

Wherin Daniel Perez provides a subjectively skewed but very wonderful AP of our latest Lady Blackbird session…
Highmoon’s Ponderings » [Lady Blackbird] A Meeting, a Pirate & a Bloody Nose.
Great stuff covering a really good session. I should write up my own report in detail at some point. But for now, just a couple of observations from my side of the table:
Personally, I don’t get why everyone else thought the last scene was so dark. Beating the snot out of a manipulative loudmouth prick who thinks he knows more than everyone else in the Blue is actually a very reasonable response. It’s not like Naomi actually killed Arkham.
I think it’s funny that everyone thinks Naomi lost control. No no. She KEPT control. The Owl still has its first mate, and the Blue still has its favorite manipulative loudmouth prick. Just with a broken jaw and a few cracked ribs.
Oh and the bit about Arkham having Naomi’s number? Heh. Don’t lay money on it, folks.
