S7S PDF Now Available for Solo Purchase
Yep. I’m pimping Chad’s new game again. Deal with it.
If you can’t afford the limited-edition harcover that comes bundled with a PDF copy, and don’t want to wait for the $30 softcover print edition, you can now purchase and download the Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies in PDF format from either Indie Press Revolution orĀ Drive-Thru RPG. Choose your poison.
Of course the hardcover/PDF bundle at IPR is still a sweet deal, so go for that if you can.
Fred Hicks Collects S7S Remix Contest Entries
If you’re interested in getting a peek at all of the Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies logo remix entries, Fred Hicks has posted links to all of them on his LiveJournal:
S7S Logo Remix Pics on Story Games
Here’s a Story Games thread where some S7S logo remixes are being shared. Not all the submissions are there, but it appears that many of them are.
And you’ve still got time to send one in, if you’re reading this before late Monday night April 6th. Go to the contest info page at 7skies.net and get in on the action before the deadline.
Or, if that’s not your cuppa, then go preorder the limited edition hardcover at Indie Press Revolution.
PLYY THE BLUE – My S7S Logo Remix Entry
As mentioned in yesterday’s post, I am entering the Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies Logo Remix Contest. Well, after choosing from among two or three directions I could have taken, here is my chosen entry. If you wonder if this choice reflects my current mental state and/or what I’ve got on the brain … I have no comment.
Now head over to the S7S Website or Indy Press Revolution and place your pre-order!
S7S Logo Remix Contest
I interrupt my recent run of posts that I actually wrote to present an OMR offering that I simply could not NOT share:
Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies Logo Remix Contest.
Actually, earlier today I was toying with sharing the Who Swashes the Swashmen? image from Fred’s journal, but before I got around to it they announced the contest, so now I’m sharing that instead.
I’m gonna try to work in some time to do this – and if you have an artistic itch, you should too. I won’t even be sad if your design ends up kicking mine in the teeth.
Chad’s World + Fred’s Cover = My Perfect Storm
Driving Blind – Coming … Soon?
Fred Hicks gives us a sneak peak of the cover design for Chad Underkoffler’s Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies.
I’ve said it before. I’ll sure as hell be saying it again. Pirates, musketeers, mysticism, intrigue, and FLYING SHIPS? Yeah, could there be any more perfect mix of setting elements for me? And isn’t that cover design so darn evocative that it just makes you feel like diving head-first with steel drawn into the vast possibilities it offers?
My only worry is that once I get this thing and start playing it, I might never ever come back to the real world.
