Scott Lynch, author of the very excellent swashbuckling fantasy novels The Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Seas Under Red Skies, has begun posting a new novel entitled Queen of the Iron Sands. He’ll be posting the story online in weekly installments to give fans like me something to drink up while he works on his other projects. QotIS is a pulp-swashbuckling-sci-fi adventure tale set on Mars in the Barsoomian vein, but with a woman WWII pilot as the protagonist. I’m in!
